On Tuesday morning the 12th of January at 11.30am, The German Embassy to Ireland are launching their exhibition, ‘The Road to Unification’ on the 25th Anniversary of the Unification of East and West #Germany. Comprised of 20 fascinating boards, this will be on display until January 25th. Tea/Coffee will be served and all are welcome.
Shortly after that at 1pm. the ConTempo String Quartet return after their triumphant Christmas Concert for the first of 3 lunchtime recitals, this time featuring the works of Schubert and Stravinsky.
Finally, on Tuesday evening the 19th at 7pm, one of the world’s foremost Authors of Hiking/Trekking guides, Paddy Dillon, will give an illustrated talk as part of the Mountaineering Ireland Winter Lecture Series. This is really quite a coup for #Ballinasloe.
Admission, as always, is free and all are welcome.
The next two Tuesdays will see some diverse events in the Church Gallery of the new Ballinasloe Library.
